ANALYSIS OF THE CURRENT INTERNATIONAL AND UKRAINIAN MARKET OF TEXTILE PRODUCTS FROM HEMP FIBER

Abstract

Purpose. Based on the analysis of world production of textile products from hemp fibers to spot the main problems of the domestic market of production from this raw material, and methods of their solutions. To substantiate the opportunity of using existing lines for the processing of fiber flax and hemp fiber with subsequent use them in ecologically pure competitive textiles.

Methodology. To achieve this goal and perform scheduled tasks used complex methods of scientific knowledge, analysis, monitoring, and measurement, current regulatory and technical documentation for production textile products from fiber non-narcotic hemp.

Results. It has been established that France, Canada and China are the world’s leaders in this at the present time. The planted area for technical hemp in these countries is about twenty hectares each in 2015. Ha each, while in Ukraine hemp about 2 thousand hectares. It has been determined that development of transforming of this crop and production of extremely thin textile fabrics belongs to the two leading countries - France and Austria and no country of the world does not get close with their development and methods of quality fabrics to the countries. Ukraine, at the moment, have been a success in breeding of elite sorts of hemp textile destination, but at the lack of innovative technologies of processing this prospective culture, the goods from hemp fibers almost not produced.

Originality. Based on the review, it has been defined the opportunity of using technical hemp fiber for producing not only manufacture rope but and for the production producing modern competitive textile products.

The practical value. Development and industrial development of manufacturing technology hemp fibers allow expanding rational base of bast fibers for producing competitive domestic textiles for technical and consumer range.
