INTEGRATION PROCESSES OF SUBJECTS OF THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract

Purpose. Justification of the directions of integration processes of business entities in the regions of the country based on the analysis of trends in the development of the hospitality industry of Ukraine in modern conditions.


Method. The conducted research is based on the analysis of foreign and Ukrainian scientific literature on strengthening the integration processes of the hospitality industry in the regions. In the course of the study, statistical indicators of the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine and analytical data of the World Travel and Tourism Council were used. During the research, special and general scientific methods were used: analysis and synthesis in determining the state and prospects of the development of the hospitality industry; comparison with determined specifics of interaction of hospitality entities and possible management problems of integrated associations; with the help of the structural-logical method, the vision of the actions of local self-government bodies in the direction of strengthening the integration processes of the hospitality industry in the region is systematized.


Results. The state and prospects of the implementation of integration processes of the hospitality industry in the regions of Ukraine have been studied. It has been proven that the current crises that have arisen in Ukraine are accompanied by the instability of the operating conditions of the hospitality industry subjects, the imbalance of territorial development, the imperfect state of the management system, the poor state of the tourist infrastructure, and exacerbates the issue of the formation and development of the integration processes of the hospitality industry. The integration development of the hospitality industry is defined as the transformation of the structural parameters of the development of hospitality entities, their qualitative and quantitative indicators, with the aim of balancing the interests of stakeholders and strengthening cooperation between them for integration into new higher-ranking markets, as well as with the aim of forming and implementing complex regional tourism products.


Prospects for strengthening the integration processes of hospitality entities in the regions of Ukraine have been determined, which involve intensifying the efforts of local self-government bodies in the direction of creating an effective regional policy for the development of the hospitality industry, forming and implementing regional hospitality standards, certification of hospitality entities in the region, promotion of established regional products and services of the hospitality industry, education of the local population and all those interested in improving the quality of the offered services. A number of economic and social advantages of those enterprises of the hospitality industry that quickly adapt to external changes through the formation of associations have been proven.


The scientific novelty. The specificity of the interaction of the subjects of the hospitality industry and the possible problems of managing integrated associations are determined.


The practical significance. The proposed directions for strengthening the integration processes of the subjects of the hospitality industry of Ukraine in modern conditions are the main tools for the development of the region, which will allow to quickly overcome the effects of destructive factors and integrate into the global market of hospitality products and services.
